Thanks, Charles for being so patient with the holiday slump! We have a few weeks before Christmas, and I was hoping Jenna would pick for the next discussion. After that, so close to Christmas, we'll all probably be pretty busy, but I want to try to keep some sort of conversation alive..so I thought we could pick a movie and slowly discuss that for a few weeks..something with meat to it, but not terribly distracting, any suggestions?

ReplyDeleteShooting from the hip here... I haven't read a ton of short stories... but how about George MacDonald's The Day Boy and The Night Girl? It's on the lighter side, one of his fairy tales, which might be easier during the holiday spell anyhow. :)
Jenna, that's a great choice because a: it's a good story that I like; b: I've read it and re-reading's always easier; and c: I own a copy. In short, I approve of your choice because I'm lazy ;). (Seriously though, great selection. I guess technically we have to wait for the moderator to approve but I think she can be persuaded...)
